Alabama Vital Records

Alabama vital records can be obtained through the state office.  There is a statewide computer system available in all Alabama counties, and this allows all authorized applicants to receive Alabama birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, marriage licenses and divorce decrees by going in person to the county health department.  All mailed applications should be sent to the Alabama state office, as the county offices are not prepared to handle mail.
